Scott E. Mcclain

Price Pelletier associate Scott E. McClain is a civil litigation attorney focusing primarily on business litigation and tort defense. He handles cases from intake through trial preparation, including all aspects of discovery, motion work, and case analysis. His prior experience as an operations manager in the manufacturing and transportation industries gives him a unique insight into the real-life impact legal proceedings can have on his clients. Previously, Mr. McClain worked as a medical malpractice defense attorney, where he defended medical providers and facilities against malpractice claims throughout California.

A native San Diegan, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania on a Naval ROTC scholarship and then spent four years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy, completing two deployments.

He resides in Scripps Ranch and is active in the local community, volunteering in the local little league, soccer club, and his sons’ schools.
